Craft Route: crafts in Aalsmeer and the surrounding area
Discover a rich variety of crafts along this 18 km bike and walking route. From pottery, eel smoking and soap making to growing flower bulbs and cooking with traditionally made herb oil and herb mixes. The route also takes you past the gallery in a former peat cutting building, a real sculpture island, an authentic dairy farm and an artist’s studio. You can relax and take in all the sights in the teahouse along the Tolhuisstraat.
Day programme for groups
This route is filled with craft activities in Aalsmeer and the surrounding area and is recommended for small and larger groups. An extensive day programme has been prepared for groups of up to six people. You can choose in advance which locations you want to spend more time at. For groups of six to 20 people, the route is a nice addition to a workshop at one of the craft activities. For example, you can cycle the route and book an extended tour with two crafts activities.
