Terrace overlooking the Westeinderplassen
Brasserie Nieuwe Meer is located at the edge of the Kleine Poel and until a few years ago it was only accessible to members of Nieuwe Meer water sports club. But the management wanted to offer non-members from Aalsmeer and surroundings the opportunity to enjoy the spacious terrace and the beautiful view of the Westeinderplassen. Hostess Inge van Broekhoven and her partner chef Albert Pielanen have the honour of running this brasserie.
Mooring for lunch, drinks or dinner
The historical wooden building is only accessible by water. After mooring your boat, sloop, sailboat or speedboat, take a short ferry crossing and you will find a modest or extensive lunch waiting for you. From delicious artisan bread to freshly baked fish, supplied by local suppliers. Are you in the mood for a drink with nibbles? Or dinner with a large group? Or just for two? Then Brasserie Nieuwe Meer in Aalsmeer is well worth a visit.
